Physical exercise is essential for maintaining strong bodies, but the impact on brain health is often underrated. Exercise plays a significant role in keeping our brains healthy, but equally important is “brain training”. Different parts of our brain control various abilities and cognitive skills, so it is crucial to learn how to cross-train not only our bodies, but also our brains! Brain training has been shown to improve attention span, concentration, thinking, memory, language and executive functions.
